ARTIST: STEPHEN DICKSON
Stephen (pictured centre) is a proud part of Northern Ireland’s ukulele community. He plays with Banbridge Ukes, a local jam group that not only gathers for fun but also raises money for charity. Beyond that, Steve is actively involved with Lisburn Ukes, Belfast Ukulele Jam, Crossgar Ukes (Crukes), and Newcastle Ukes (Anchor Ukes)—making him a true champion of the uke scene in his area. His go-to instrument is the Snail SUT-M2, which he brings to every gathering.
ARTIST: JONATHAN LEWIS
Jonathan plays a Snail UKC-E498 ebony concert ukulele and a Snail SUT-M1 gloss mahogany tenor. After many years as a folk guitarist, he discovered campanella fingerstyle on the ukulele—a technique that allows notes to ring out like a harp, perfectly suited to the traditional folk and Irish tunes he specialises in.
For campanella to shine, intonation has to be flawless, which is why Jon loves his Snail ukuleles. Not only do they look stunning, but they also deliver exceptional sound and play beautifully in tune all the way up the neck.
